First Easter

Here we are during out photo session at Jenny's. We got some photos taken with all the kids. Can't wait to see how they turn out.

Abuelita and Abuelito like to do funny things with Jase and here they are planning their next meal with him as the main dish!
Jase got busted in his daddy's stash of liquor!
Abuelita got Jase some Easter eggs and this crazy chicken that does the chicken dance. A video will be at the bottom of this post.
Check out Jase with all the goodies that Grammy sent from Virginia! Thanks a bunch!!!!!
Jase has really been developing like crazy. He is grabbing at objects and holding them while manipulating them into his mouth. He can roll over to his stomach and back to his back. He also loves to grab his feet and now can pull at his socks! Cool, huh? He talks a ton and laughs so much. Unfortunately he is sick AGAIN! We are not too sure if it's allergies or a cold but either way he is coughing something awful and it's so sad. Here is the Easter video to make you giggle.

Jase's first Master's

While I was at work today one of Jason's friends offered their Master's practise round passes to go visit at the end of the day. I was lucky enough to leave a little bit early from work to race home. I had to change clothes and eat something really quick. We left and parked at a friend's house that was very close to one of the gates to the Augusta National Golf Course. We walked towards the golf course where everyone was walking away from due to it being over. All we wanted to do was go and see, since it was my first time seeing the "greatest golf course in the world." We walked in through the metal detectors (again, only people entering since it was over) and the lovely lady asked us if we had a pass for "the baby." I laughed and she looked at me very serious and sincere about the question at hand. I said "no" because "why would we have one for a 4 month old baby????" She then explained that anything with a heartbeat had to have a pass to get in. Luckily, a security officer felt sorry for us and went and got us a pass so that we all three could get in. We just had to promise to return it to the rightful owner, another security manager. I was able to see the amazing greens and at least get a feel for the "Master's". It was so cool because there were all these young men wearing yellow caddy outfits that were the cleaning crew and lawn care men buzzing through the course making it beautiful for the next day events. Here are a few pics of Jase and me. He got real tired at the end and just had enough of looking around.

What a Weekend!

This weekend was very uneventful but at the same time very eventful. First, Friday night I woke up to my heart racing as I heard a strange noise. At first I thought my mother was screaming and then I realized Jason was in the bathroom getting sick. He was up all night "praying" to the porcelain god. That kept me up for hours because I could not sleep through the noise and then I had some serious anxiety that I would be next. Poor Daddy!! Saturday Jason laid in bed all day, I sat on the recliner feeling very sluggish and achy but no upset stomach. My parents were in town and so we all just hung out in the family room watching TV. My parents went to Walmart to get some fluids for Jason so that he would not become dehydrated. We all went to bed and Jason had not gotten sick all day so we thought it was over. WRONG! At about 1am, right after feeding the baby, Jason got up to get sick again. Sigh. I was so worried for him because he said he felt like he was dying. I woke up Sunday morning and went out to the family room to find my mother asleep on the couch and my father in the room. I woke up my mother with Jase and she then told me that she and my father had been up since 4am with upset stomachs!! Oh no!! Needless to say, my poor mother has been in bed all day with stomach and body pains. My dad had been not as bad but has also napped several times as well. Again Jason stayed in bed all day long. So Jase and I had a lot of time together and he seems to being okay even though he has had diarrhea but no fever. As for me, I am doing good for the most part, with only some dull aches in my stomach but it has not gotten upset. We are guessing that Jase had this "bug" and passed to everyone. Damn School!!

I love this photo! I have to figure out what kind of light to get above the changing table because he is now starting to reach and grab things.
Here we are being greasy bums!
Hanging out with Abuelito watching TV and messing around on the computer.
Abuelita loving on me the day before she got sick. Poor thing :(
Those must be some tasty fingers!!

My Stud Muffin!

Check out the most fantastic accessory that my sister sent for Jase. These suspenders are so cool! He was so proud of them and knew how handsome he looked. The last photo is my favorite, he looks like a model!

14 and 1/2 weeks old

Here I am in my new Jumparoo! My legs are just long enough to reach the floor and move just a little bit while I play.
I really love my jumparoo, it's a gift I got before I was even born from some of my dad's friends at his school. Look at me reach for the toys in front of me!
Man, this thing makes me so tired I have to lay my head down!
I love playing with my daddy and here I am trying to eat his nose...hmmmm...kind of salty.
Last weekend we visited with my aunt, uncle, grammy and grandpa and my cousins. Here I am with my cousin Austin. He even fed me a bottle since I have to have a few on the weekends so that I am not too upset when the teachers at school have to feed me. Although this doesn't seem to be helping me eat to my fullest potential at school. I wish I could have my mommy with me all the time to feed me and cuddle with.
My dog, Chopper, loves me and he always wants to play with me.
Jase has been going to school for three weeks now. It has been the hardest thing that we have had to do. I look forward to when he doesn't have to go anymore. His nose has been stuffy the past week and now he is coughing pretty awful. He hasn't had a fever but seems irritable at times, especially at night. Hopefully he will feel better soon because it's not fun having to suck mucus out of his nose and listen to him cough so hard. He smiles and laughes all the time now. He constantly wants to have his fingers and hands in his mouth. So with that he drools quite a bit so I have to keep a bib on him so that his shirts don't get so wet around his neck and cause little red bumps. I took him to the doctor for his nose on Thursday and they weighed him and so now he weighs 17 lbs and 5 ozs!!! Wow!! To watch a video of him playing with his jumparoo go to this link (since I can't seem to get it to upload to my blog the right way) http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=5838951502700959742

Bling Bling

Check out the gorgeous ring that my father gave Jase. This ring belonged to my father when he was a baby. It is 62 years old! It looks so handsome on him, I just want to bite off his fingers. What an heirloom.

The very beginning!!

This is a video of my mother finding out we are pregnant. I wrapped the pregnancy test as a present. I hope you enjoy this joyous occasion. It still brings tears to my eyes when I watch it.
