Check out the gorgeous ring that my father gave Jase. This ring belonged to my father when he was a baby. It is 62 years old! It looks so handsome on him, I just want to bite off his fingers. What an heirloom.

He's such a gorgeous baby! Lucky you. Look at those cute fingers and what a big hand. As you can imagine, many years ago I out grew the ring so it was stashed away for 62 years just for such a joyous occasion. His great-grandma did well in securing the ring for so many years. Considering how many times our family moved, more than most people can ever imagine, my mother made sure that little ring didn't get lost or misplaced. We moved from Puerto Rico to Trinidad and back. Then we moved two times to the old Panama Canal Zone from Puerto Rico and back to Puerto Rico. Then we moved to Miami, Florida and then to Atlanta, Georgia, then to Germany, then to Virginia and back to Puerto Rico. In Puerto Rico we moved 3 more times. Fianlly the ring ended up in Sierra Vista, Arizona where my mom and dad moved to and eternally rest. The ring then came home with me to Lawrenceville, Georgia and now little Jase took it with him to Augusta, Georgia. There were other moves in Puerto Rico in the middle to late 40's that I cannot specifically name, there were about 3 more moves in that time. The little ring has quite a bit of history. It was given to me in 1945 when I was born by Mrs. Carmen Rosado, a long time childhood friend of my father. She still lives and is in Puerto Rico. Her son is retired Brigadier General Jose M. Rosado, U.S, Army. General 'Chemito' Rosado is my fraternity brother and we are friends forever. What history!
Wow, what a history lesson, and all I see is fat fingers, what a cutie!!!! I don't think Jase will lose the ring because he keeps his hands closed in a fist all day. That initial on the ring is "M" for "Macho", says Abuelito!!
What a lovely story! He is really lucky to have that ring, I hope he will take good care of it so it can be passed on to his future children! Those fingers are really fat... looks just like Isaks little hand :-)
Beautiful! Yes indeed mami was a very good caretaker of our precious things! GBHS!
I can't believe your dad still had this ring that is too cute on those fat fingers.
That is too cute Carmen!
This is a beautiful baby ring on a beautiful baby boy! Lots of Love to all of you!
