Birddawg's Bedding

Check it out ladies and gentlemen!! It's Baby Ames's bedding that my wonderful mother-in-law, Cheryl, made. I picked out the fabric and pattern and she made the bumper and sheet. She even made a quilt to go with the set but since we have not chosen a name yet, the quilt is on hold because his name is going to go on it. We love the set and it's so cool. How about the awesome rocket pillow??!! That is an original creation by Cheryl. Then she even made a diaper stacker and a box to hold the baby wipes. Those are the finishing touches that just make the room so special. Thank you Cheryl!!

So now that I am 38 weeks pregnant, the swelling is getting worse. The proof is in the picture, look at what my feet looked like when I got home from work and I took off my socks. NASTY!! Not only are they swollen but they do get sore in spots, almost liked they are bruised and then they itch like crazy sometimes. I have woken up in the middle of the night scratching one foot with the nails of my other foot. I am assuming the itching has to do with the lack of circulation but who the heck knows. Otherwise I feel great. We are very anxious and just waiting for this little fellow to come.

I love the bedding! Cheryl did a great job. And it means so much to have it made especially for baby Ames. I remember getting up at night when I couldn't sleep and just sitting in the baby's room wondering how things were going to be. Then before you know it you are holding and loving that little, precious person you've been waiting for and you wish it would never end. Take your time and enjoy these moments. They go by so fast. love, ash

What a neat set of bedding! I love the pillow. Carmen, Jason you all are very lucky to have some one such as your mom to sew such a beutiful-on-of-a-kind set for Mr. Baby Ames!

Carmen, stay off those feet! Soak those "babies" you won't have the time in a couple of weeks!! Love titi Liany.

I love the crib set. It is so cute. Can't wait to see it in person. Your poor feet:(
Don't worry it will all be over soon and you will forget all about the pain and swelling, and all you will remember is how precious your baby boy is. Remington Pete or Jason Matthew? That is what we all want to know. What will it be? Can't wait to see.

love, ERIN
