It's Official...

...I have lost it! I went to my four o'clock appointment today and found out that the appointment was YESTERDAY! Aaaaahhhhhh.... Silly me, I kept telling myself that the appointment was Thursday the 25th and I even requested the afternoon of the 25th of work off. Well after working all day and knowing it was the 26th I showed up for my appointment and was told that the doctor doesn't even work on Thursday afternoons. They say pregnancy may cause you to feel absentminded, I guess that is what you can call what happened to me today. Oops. All day yesterday and today I have felt very swollen in my lower legs, ankles and feet. I was wearing some flats and the skin was overflowing my shoes. Gross, I know. Here are two pictures of what it looks like. You can even see that the swollen part goes all around to the back where the Achilles tendon is. I mean how is that possible? I guess I need to elevate my feet and drink more water. They say it's normal, especially at the end of the pregnancy. With five more weeks (or 35 days) left I guess I am doing good.

Those feet look like mine did when I was pregnant with you!!! It's scary looking isn't it? It is only temporary, sweetie, don't worry.

Mom

If you are the one with swollen feet like that, why does it hurt me?

Your belly doesn't look that big in the first photo. Those jeans don't look like preggo jeans. Lucky you.

Carmen, pick baby Ames' name AND then tell us okay. It's got to be your (you and Jason) thing. Once you've named the baby, people can't say anything about your choice, bug you to name the baby after them etc. Although in my case, I wish people had bugged my parents and said, that doesn't sound like a girls name.

Wish we could send you the nanny.
