The boys got their haircuts right before we moved. Jase added a few years and now really gets mistaken for looking older.
He did really good getting his hair cut. He has his Iphone and all the games on it so that keeps him pretty happy while she cut his hair. He would not let her take the electric clippers to his neckline though. He has a thing for sounds bothering him, even though he's the loudest kid you'll meet.
I didn't take any photos of Zach's haircut with my regular camera. They were taken with the video camera which I need to learn how to use and download.

The boys dressed up as pirates this year. Jase kept asking to be a monster or pirate so I chose pirate since I am not sure how that would have turned out.
Zach kept his pirate patch on for most of the night. Jase couldn't see well with it on. He raced to each house ready to dig in to people's candy bowls. He kept wanting them to give him more and more.
He stopped many kids and tried to talk to them. He is a little delayed in his communication skills so most kids just looked at him confused. He even went up to scary monsters to talk to them.
Here we are. I was going to be a witch but couldn't find a witch hat to go along with my tights and witch shoes. Jase called me "pirate mommy" and so then I was just that.
Zach had a great time and they both talk about trick or treating still. Aaargh.
At the end of the candy journey on the way back to the car.
When we moved here we had Jason's parents come and help us. Here is Grammy with the boys playing with pink bath foam.
The neighborhood we live in is a neighborhood that didn't get finished so there are a lot of empty lots with overgrown weeds. Fun area for the boys to play in and get dirty and pick up strange plant life attached to their clothing.
Good times with all of Thomas' train friends in the grass and dirt.
Zach is really starting to talk now and most of it is understandable. Many things are only understandable to us because it's repetitive but doesn't really sound they way they should. He is still addicted to his pacifier on a daily basis. Which is so annoying to me but what can you do when being at home with them 24/7 you just do what you can to mentally survive. We are in the process of getting Jase into school here with the public school system and then hopefully I can join a gym and Zach will like going into the childcare room. We will put him in a preschool when our financial situation becomes more stable. Opening your own practice is tricky business.
The boys are getting along well. Jase still doesn't really know how to play together which hopefully the new schooling with help him with that. Age really makes a difference too for him. Things are improving with his outbursts and not freaking out over every little thing. So I am hopeful that within the next year Zach will grow out of his crying all the time.
