GOBBLE GOBBLE

We had a big time for Thanksgiving. My parents came with Elektra on Wednesday night. My brother came the afternoon of Thanksgiving. We fried a turkey and had some tasty other fatty foods. Jason made a most delicious Sangria that we had in a bucket. My mother said that it was enough for an army...we finished it in three days and that was mostly my mother and me. My parents left not too long ago and I know Jase is missing them. Things are much more livelier when they are here. He has so much fun playing with Elektra and she is sweet and sharing with him, which we all know is hard for a two year old to do. My mother and I ventured out shopping on Black Friday later in the afternoon and we were able to stay out of craziness. We went to some stores that were not slam packed with shoppers. We were very surprised to see Michael's craft store more packed than we had expected. It was fun and we ended it with a trip to eat some SUSHI!!!! yes yes yes....we love some sushi. Better enjoy it now before I get pregnant again and it's on the "Not Allowed List". We had nice relaxing times and it's back to making the donuts tomorrow. Boo Hiss
Here is the Abuelito Express...All aboard!!!
Jase's Thanksgiving dinner.
What Jase thought of his Thanksgiving dinner. Even though he looks like he would eat anything, he doesn't like it all just yet. His favorite was the sweet potato.
The first cousin bath.
It was so cute and sweet.
They had so much fun.
Here is something funny Jason does with Jase's Lovey. He puts it on the floor and puts his head on it then Jase comes over and puts his head down on it.

His favorite thing to eat for breakfast. Nutrigrain waffles YUM!
With only one seat they had to improvise. What a good boy standing and holding on.
Tasty treats found this morning on Jase's face. GROSS!!He loved riding on it by himself the best. Check out his feet
Back on the passagener seat. TOO CUTE

I mean seriously...check him out hamming it up for the camera!!
Look at him go!
Hey! Come back here with that flask! You still have 20 years to go.
He likes to look at himself and give himself kisses in the mirror.
Jase likes to sit in his swing and reminisce about being a little.
Go Dawgs!
Watching the football game with Daddy. Good times
Come on people.............who can resist that profile??
Just so delightful.

Weekend Update

This weekend we celebrated Elektra's Birthday. She is now the big 2. We had some friends come to the park and had a great time. This was Jase's first time to the park. He had a blast. Just three more weeks till he turns ONE!!! Can you believe it? Check out the Vans shoes he is sporting. Ha!
It's serious business turning 2, check out that face.
Jason had him on the picnic table standing and by the look on my dad's face it looks like he was a little nervous.

It was a chilly day but he was bundled.
He could spend hours on the swing.
He really liked looking upward while swinging.
sigh
Jason took him over to see Syd, Kyla and Talen. Here he is with adorable Talen.

Bookworm

What a weekend!

My parents came to visit this weekend. They got to babysit Jase Friday while I went to the dentist. Saturday Jason and I went on a date, which was our first in almost a year! wow. Jase is officially walking and has to be walking all the time. The only time he crawls is to get to an object that he can pull himself up on and then he walks around. And by the way, just in case you forgot...he LOVES to read!!
Here he is with his new Tonka Scoot and Scoop that Daddy got him.
He had great times going to Sam's with Abuelita and Abuelito
He loves his Gloworm and pushing the belly over and over to make the music and light go on.
Reading....
more reading....
and even more reading!!!!

Trick or Treat Anyone?

I had to post this photo even though Jase's eyes are closed. It shows how big and cute his teeth are!
He likes to pretend he will share his food with you.
His first taste of Reese's Pieces...Dad's idea of course. (check out the cool shirt Maria got him)
I dressed up as Shrek to hand out candy. Jase was not to sure about it. He knew it was me because of my voice be couldn't figure it out. I surprised the Trick or Treaters too when I opened the door and they saw me.
He did let me pick him up though, that is one brave guy, I look pretty scary!
Look at that spider go!
Next year he will go Trick or Treating but this year he was sleeping instead!
